Halo! I'm Jodi Martin - Singer-songwriter, Ocean-lover, Writer & Well-being Advocate from the edge of the South Australian coastal desert.
The epic national Never Say Die! Tour has reached far-flung states and territories to celebrate 25 years of making records, and in 2026 The Never Say Die! Tour rolls on to South Australia and Western Australia, where it all began. I was born and raised on South Australia's Eyre Peninsula and several generations back one of my ancestors was shipwrecked off the coast of Rockingham, WA as a one year old on a tall ship arriving from the other side of the world called ‘The Rockingham’, which became the city's namesake. He was carried ashore in his mother's arms and grew up in WA dreaming of being a farmer one day… eventually he travelled to South Australia and did just that, part of a long line of passionate farmers, including my mum and dad.
The resilience and thinking-on-the-spot ingenuity that goes hand in hand with the ancient art of traditional agriculture is celebrated in the hilarious blues-rap Tommy the Toyota. This true story about my dad's wild adventures with his beloved 40 series Toyota ute, inspired and spearheaded this national Never Say! Die Tour. For my music journey to be forged with the resilience and longevity of a 40 series Landcruiser is my ethos and life mission - yeeew! ;)
Head over to the SHOWS page and book tickets for the WA shows - Kalgoorlie at The Irish Pub on Friday 10th July, 7pm and the Fremantle Fibonacci Centre on Saturday 11th July, 7pm - more shows coming soon, including playing Streaky Bay SA for The Variety Club's Children's Charity Fundraiser in August…
May this year find you making time for what your heart truly loves, and I look forward to seeing you along the road!
Love and light,
Jodi
