Jodi’s World Turning EP was released in 2011, after an extended period of touring, writing and living in Montreal, Canada. Jodi co-wrote the title track with Canadian composer Louis Dufort, and collaborated with co-producer Diane Hughes in production. This EP echoes the sound and sentiments of Jodi’s rootsy debut, Water and Wood. Songs like Oh My Heart are reminiscent of the deeply personal insights and introspection of that first album, and the quirky Baggage Carousel, about people leaving space for each other at the airport, ensures Jodi’s cheeky humour emerges as well.
